Watch HBO Max With Ads on Xfinity TV and Xfinity Internet

Watch iconic series, award-winning movies and fresh originals across multiple devices with Max (formerly HBO Max). Max features acclaimed series from the world of HBO and DC along with family favorites, blockbuster movies and shows for food, home, reality, travel and true crime. Max is available to Xfinity TV customers a la carte or as part of the Xfinity TV Streaming Bundle.

What is Max?

Max (formerly HBO Max) is a streaming service with iconic series, new and old movies, family favorites and blockbuster Hollywood films. You’ll also find fresh originals, plus the best in food, home, reality, travel and true crime. Max is available a la carte or as part of the Xfinity TV and Xfinity Internet packages – with access to the Max app on your X1 and Flex streaming TV boxes, plus on your mobile devices. Max is included with Xfinity TV and Xfinity Internet Platinum customers, and is available as an add-on for Xfinity Unlimited subscribers.

Signing up for Max

If you already subscribe to HBO through your cable provider, you should have access to Max as part of your service. If not, you can upgrade your package online or directly from your Spectrum TV receiver to gain access to the streaming app.

Once you have an account, you can stream Max content on up to two screens at a time with the ad-supported plan and up to four with the Ultimate ad-free plan. Both plans include HD streaming and 30 downloads per month. You can also save up to 16% if you choose an annual ad-supported or Ultimate plan.

Max offers a wide selection of iconic series, award-winning movies and fresh originals. It includes the worlds of Harry Potter and DC Universe, plus shows about food, home, travel, reality and true crime. It is known for making content changes frequently, though. Recent cost-cutting decisions, for example, resulted in the removal of several shows.

The Xfinity website and Max app are available for Apple, Android, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, PlayStation, LG and Samsung smart TVs and more. You can also sign up for a free one-week trial of the Max app with a valid Xfinity ID. After that, you can share the same password and login information with other members of your household to allow them to watch on all devices.

Max on my Xfinity X1 TV Box or Flex streaming TV Box

Xfinity Flex is a free-of-charge 4K streaming device included with Xfinity Internet customers and gives you access to popular subscription apps like Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, YouTube, HBO Max, Peacock and Paramount+ as well as tens of thousands of free choices from Xumo Play, Pluto and Tubi. With a simple search feature powered by the award-winning Xfinity Voice Remote, you can find entertainment on your Xfinity Streaming TV Box with just a few words or swipes of your finger.

Using apps that require internet to work (like Netflix, Peacock and Paramount+) may count against your Xfinity internet data usage. Please see Xfinity Internet data usage details for more information.

To sign in to Xfinity TV with Max, you need a compatible Xfinity X1 TV Box with the RNG150 or XG1v1 model number or a Pace Xi6 (Xi5 models aren’t supported) and a supported Xfinity Internet service. To sign in, go to the Xfinity app or website and choose Sign In. Then enter the Xfinity ID and password for the primary account holder.

Max offers iconic series, fresh originals from HBO and DC Universe as well as best-in-class shows in genres like food, home, travel, adventure, true crime and more. To view Max on your Xfinity X1 TV Box with a Max subscription, open the Xfinity app or Xfinity mobile website and select the Max menu.

Max with Ads

When WarnerMedia announced the launch of HBO Max with Ads, it promised that the ad-supported version would offer “one of the lightest ad loads in streaming video.” As expected, current HBO subscribers will be able to continue watching their regular shows on the new service without paying more.

At launch, Max will include a mix of traditional pre-roll ads (15 seconds that play before the selected content begins), 30- and 60-second mid-roll ads, as well as static ads that appear when a viewer pauses the content (as is already the case with Hulu). Future ad formats planned for Max include “brand blocks,” which allow marketers to buy a full block of content for a limited commercial experience, and branded discovery, which lets users watch ads during their search for content.

The ad-supported Max will compete with Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix and the new Disney+. Per a WarnerMedia press release, the company hopes to appeal to a broader range of viewers than its previous incarnation as HBO, whose name has connotations with mature programming. Max will offer family-friendly content, the latest hit movies, a collection of classics, HBO original series and the DC Universe.

Maximize the potential of your in-app advertising campaigns with Performance Max, which features a new ad format called product ads. These ad units show more product information and are designed to drive high-quality leads for your business. With this new campaign type, you’ll see ad click data reported as Product Ad clicks in your Google Insights report.מקס שירות לקוחות
