I know you’ve heard of the new Atlanta dance called the Nae Nae. This video has been racking up views and likes everywhere from Vine, Instagram and Youtube. Dwight Howard is the latest celebrity who has joined in on Nae Nae fever. It is a fun dance that everyone can get down to. Do you know the originators of the dance? This dance craze was created by a group in Atl called We Are Toonz. The best songs to do the Nae Nae dance to are: ”I’m a Stoner” by: Young Thug, Blvd Marc ”Fumble, We Are Toonz ”Nae Nae”
The Nae Nae dance consists of four basic moves. All you have to do is bend your knees, put your hand in the air, move your shoulders, and shuffle your feet for an effective Nae Nae move. Oh yeah don’t forget to add the HUHHHH sound to make it pop. It’s been a while since the Hip-Hop world had a dance to call it’s own on a national level. Since ”teach me how to dougie” it’s been hard to find a dance that sticks through the test of time. Hopefully the Nae Nae can remain popular through the summer of 2014. I rather our youths have fun and dance rather than shoot guns, and play that ignorant knockout game. Check out the videos down low for several examples of the dance, along with a tutorial.
